24 hour Reactive emergency service pipe leaks

Self-Lay Services provides a comprehensive 24/7 call out service and aim to be on-site within two hours of the initial works request.  We can carry out repairs from a 15mm pipe to 2″ water service.

All of our reactive works are supported with Innovative Works Reports, which are supplied immediately on completion of the works.

Mains water leaks

We provide a 24/7 reactive service for undertaking repairs on water mains.  Our teams can undertake repairs on burst water mains from 3″ to 12″ and will aim to be on site within two hours.

Our comprehensive service includes everything from locating and excavating the leak, to backfill and reinstating the excavation.  All reinstatements carried out are to HAUC specification.

Large Estate Mains water replacement schemes

Self-Lay Services can renew existing large estate water mains; we have the expertise to work on confined residential estates and will carry out the works with minimal disruption.  We currently undertake these works for a number of London Boroughs.

Our comprehensive surveys map-out the layout of the existing water network, we then provide existing, as built drawings, along with our proposed installation drawings. On completion of the project we provide full O&M manuals and as built drawings that will completely future proof the estate.

Pressure and flow rate tests

We provide full pressure and flow rate tests, whether it is undertaking a pressure and flow rate test prior to installing a new 25mm MDPE service pipe, or undertaking tests on Fire Hydrants or on water networks on large estates.

We can run tests to determine whether it’s possible extend your existing water networks, or if a new connection is required.
